I was born in Ireland. I don’t ever think I have stopped being an artist since I studied art at Leaving Certificate in Ireland. I have painted on and off all my life. The decision to take a degree in Fine Art well that’s different. I had retired early – something insignificant in the City of London and the Paris Bourse – and then I found the fine art course at Bangor University. I graduated in 2017 – one of the best things I did with my life

But art has become much more than painting a picture to hang on someone’s wall as Picasso said He claimed it could be an ‘instrument of war against brutality and darkness’.

So I feel I have had a truly blessed life and I look forward to sharing my journey with you
